Energy Efficient Home Renovations

Energy Efficient Home Renovations - All Renovation Construction LLC

Every year, millions of people decide to renovate their homes. Most renovations have the same goal — to make homes more functional, more secure, more comfortable and more enjoyable.

Over the past two decades, architects, engineers, designers and builders have made tremendous improvements in designing, building, and renovating homes. New homes today are far more energy-efficient and comfortable than in the past. All Renovation recognizes the importance of clean, fresh air indoors and of keeping chemicals and other pollutants to a minimum. We have learned how to build and renovate homes by using fewer natural resources and reducing the negative impact of housing on the environment.

All Renovation is dedicated in building and renovating with a GREEN perspective. Let us demonstrate how a house of any age can be turned into a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient home today. We encourage you to consider an Energy Efficient Home Renovation. You can start by downloading our Energy Efficient Home Renovation brochure.

Energy Efficient Home Renovation - Energy Recovery Ventilation System - AllRenovation Construction LLC

Energy recovery ventilation systems provide a controlled way of ventilating a home while minimizing energy loss. They reduce the costs of heating ventilated air in the winter by transferring heat from the warm inside air being exhausted to the fresh (but cold) supply air. In the summer, the inside air cools the warmer supply air to reduce ventilation cooling costs. For more information, visit the U.S. Dept. of Energy website. Also you can visit our gallery to view our Passive House project which used this system.

  • Client Testimonial

All Renovation was referred to me by my good friend to restore my husband’s turn of the century brick and brownstone townhouse. Their bid was the most competitive and detailed. I visted several of All Renovation’s past clients before I hired them and they were all very pleased with their work and professionalism. The best part of the experience was their availability no matter what time or day of the week, I have to say they have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I am extremely happy with their work and craftsmanship. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do home or commercial renovation and needs a trusted and honest company.”

All Renovation took a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and a studio and converted them into one large apartment with a spacious living room adjacent to a semi-formal dinning room. The master bedroom and bath were moved into the studio apartment, thereby keep the bedrooms in the more recessed parts of the building that have less natural light. The dinning room and kitchen were moved, putting them in a part of the building that allows natural light and air. Added to this reconfiguration was a total custom kitchen renovation, along with custom molding throughout, which took a ‘fifties style’ apartment and gave it a townhouse look. Added to this was a central air conditioning system, which is a rarity in a Brooklyn apartment.

All through the process All Renovation was always caring and diligent about the project and has returned several times to fix or offer advice on things that needed adjustment. I would highly recommend AllRenovation to anyone serious about finding a high caliber and professional contractor.”

I have worked with All Renovation on my clients projects and my personal home, each time I have been extremely pleased with the results and keep returning with more projects. All Renovation has always shown the greatest of quality and responsibility in the completion of the projects . Owner and partner Pietro Calabretta worked exclusively with me in the planning stages of my projects so that they were completed in a timely manner. The workmanship on everything from structural construction and trim work through the fine finishings of tile work and painting was always done impeccably. In my professional opinion I highly recommend All Renovation.”

All Renovation did a compete bathroom remodel for us in August 2005. This included completely gutting the old bathroom to the studs, carting away the debris, and replacing everything with the new fixtures and tiles we selected. Installing the new fixtures involved numerous plumbing projects, all of which were done professionally and have been in good repair since completion. During the project, the workers were very careful and tried to contain the mess as best as possible. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and get many compliments on the new bathroom. All Renovation was also helpful in choosing the layout for the tile work, as well as finding distributors in our area for fixtures and other items. We would definitely use All Renovation for future projects and strongly recommend them to others!”

I can’t say enough about the quality of work and service I received from All Renovation. The attention to detail was impeccable. Dealing with contractors is usually a nightmare, but I had quite the opposite experience. All Renovation was always on time for our meetings and truly cared about the outcome. Their price was reasonable and best of all, after a 6-month renovation, they finished on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire All Renovation again.”

I did not want another day to go by without thanking you for all of your extraordinary efforts in our renovation project. The results have far exceeded our expectations. You and your crew were so professional and easy to work with. We had none of the ‘horror stories’ so many people experience with contractors. Instead, we had a great level of communication and your good advice that enabled us to make the myriad decisions that came up everyday. We had complete confidence in your advice, even as things sometimes changed and shifted during the course of the renovation, as they always do. We especially appreciate your ability to integrate the many vintage and antique items we purchased into the design of our home. They are beautiful and unique and have the added advantage of being “green”.

We have already recommended you to others and would be happy to speak to anyone who needs a reference. Again, our many thanks for making our home so special.”

We did a full kitchen renovation with All Renovation and had a great experience. It was a big job with lots of moving parts and All Renovation did an excellent job of handling issues as they arose and kept everything running smoothly. Everything was completed on schedule and to our satisfaction, down to the last details, and there was no down time – just a hardworking crew in our home every day getting things done. It wasn’t dirt cheap but we were surprised at how little it ended up costing, and we love our new kitchen. We definitely will use All Renovation for our next project.”

Pietro and All Renovation did a renovation of our kitchen dining room area, and I cannot overstate how happy we were with all aspects of the work: from design to timely completion, they are top notch! We were put on to All Renovation by a family member who had used Pietro to do a major renovation of an old brownstone; they were thrilled by his work and recommended him to us without reservation. And Pietro did not disappoint. He brought an expert eye to our project, and paid close attention to those details which make a good renovation great – he went out of his way to preserve the original materials, such as baseboards, moldings, etc., and then to restore and use them. And even when he couldn’t preserve the original materials, he religiously preserved the original design elements. The quality of his work was outstanding, as were his employees.

They worked diligently, and finished the project – including significant on-the-fly changes – on time and on budget. I enthusiastically recommend Pietro and All Renovation!”
